Penny & Liam's Elopement (2026)

Whether it's an elopement or not, I adore summer photo shoots. In the intense heat of a pleasant June day, the memories of winter vanish.

Penny and Liam told me how much they wanted pictures in advance of their December wedding in Thailand. Therefore, even though they are in the "Elopement" style, I would technically refer to them as engagement shots. In a technical sense.

Penny gave me her vision, which was inspired by Pinterest boards and the longing for vintage movies. She and Liam found vintage clothes for the photo shoot because they are both professional thrifters.

Sherman Falls, a stunningly confined forest in Dundas, was where we began the morning. I concentrated on dramatic photos of Penny and Liam first apart and later together. The major idea here was to use the large waterfall as a backdrop to provide the static drama I had in mind for Penny and Liam some movement.

After that, we drove down towards Cayuga and made a quick stop at a bridge in the hopes of capturing many water images. However, instead, we discovered a glade that offered us the ideal setting for more conventional "elopement" style shots.

Our half-day shoot came to a conclusion at Rock Point Fossils, a beach inside a provincial park.
