Half Ironman - Muskoka (2025)

Shooting my first half-ironman was an experience I’ll never forget—equal parts hectic, hot, and so much fun. From the moment the athletes hit the water to the last steps across the finish line, there was something happening in every direction, and I was racing just as hard to keep up with it all (camera in hand instead of running shoes).

The day carried extra meaning for me because my younger brother and his best friend were among the competitors. Watching them dig deep through each stage of the race gave me a front-row seat to their determination, and it felt incredible to capture their story alongside the hundreds of others pushing through the same challenge.

By the end of the day I was sunburned, exhausted, and buzzing with energy. I came away with a collection of images that felt alive—moments of grit, celebration, and quiet focus stitched together into a story bigger than the race itself.
